The pure silk fabric is sheer, and breathable fabric traditionally woven from 100% mulberry silk using highly twisted S- and Z-twist yarns in both warp and weft. It is characterized by a dull, matte finish and a slightly crinkly, textured surface (crepe texture). It is highly prized for its beautiful, flowing drape.
